The Self Locking System (SLS) provides an audible "click" when the weapon is holstered, while the rotating hood gives an additional audible "click" when the weapon is released. This provides a more stable hold and a smoother single-motion draw. The UBL not only mounts the holster to your duty belt, but it also allows you to move the holster up or down the belt with a single motion, so you can draw or re-holster the firearm with a greater range of motion.
