These Belt Holsters brought to you by Safariland feature a Self-Locking System (SLS) hood that must be simultaneously rotated forward and pushed down to release. The Self-Locking System (SLS) is a set of unique retention devices designed to overcome the natural instinct of grip withdrawal from a strong side hip. Once the draw is complete, the Self-Locking System (SLS) locks the firearm into the holster and creates an inelastic (torsion) force field against any opposing force. This force field keeps the firearm from unholstering and assists in drawing the firearm even when it's dropped or held in an awkward position.
