This 24-place slide holder is ideal for storing blocks embedded in blocks or sections. Reusable, it consists of a molded plastic base and a polyester mesh display panel, which easily lifts slides from the block for slide review, without lifting the covers. Simply slide the block into the panel, and then easily move it to view the block in the center. Because blocks or slides are removed without a lot of effort, the small amount of tissue that remains on the slide is easily retrieved when the slide is removed. A V-shaped bracket helps to hold the slide in the center, and a slight offset provides enough room for the tip of the slide without causing it to stick out of the end of the slide. This minimizes the amount of slide that is lost to the top of the deck, and increases the life of the slide. These slide holders make it easy to view blocks embedded in blocks, sections, or sections of slides without the need for extra lifting, since the plastic cradle the slide slides are stored in is molded over the edge of the slide. Reusable, mercury-free, and without any lubricants, these holders are excellent for observing fixed images on a computer screen or in the lab. The molded plastic base provides a stable base for the slide, and also allows the use of a force when moving the slide out of the holder without the need for dismounting them. These holders reduce slide drying time and the amount of slide dust that gets into the specimen container when removing them from the microscope, since slides get lifted off the bottom of the binder instead of the usual flat slide holders. The front panel is smooth molded plastic, with angled edges for sturdy handling. Internal plastic tabs make it easy to view even when the slide is removed from the holder.
