Samco Disposable Transfer Pipets, Graduated, Scientific 225-20S Large Bulb, Pack of 500. Large bulb pipets measure volumes accurately and eliminate cross contamination. Excellent for sampling blood, urine, serum, and other biological fluids. Especially designed for use in nonsterile applications, vials feature a firm bulb. Flexible walls and a stem that narrows down to a fine tip prevents mixing of these different substances. Made of durable, chemical resistant, graduated polyethylene plastic. Unique bulb design prevents cross contamination problems that can occur with glass or other materials. Can be used for volumetric calculations as well as general lab volumetric measurements. Can also be used for blood bank applications. Made of chemical resistant, graduated ethylene plastic. Individually packaged in peel-open bags to allow for single use. Ordering Information: Each style has an UPCI or NAMI number and a graded scale of graduations, denotes the volume or capacity. The larger bulb type has a firm bulb and a slightly wider mouth. The "S" shaped stem tip can be used for sampling, as well as as an aspiration pipet or an aspirator. The rounded tip also allows for accurate volume or viscosity measurements.
