Great option for avoiding damage to expensive optics. I would definately buy others for my other optics in the future. It deninately reduces the scratches and scuffs on the surface of the optic and protects the coated glass lenses too.

I bought this product to protect one of my scopes (Weaver Classic V-Series 6-24x42) and it fitted pretty well. The neoprene is not too thick, so this is not a bulky cover. It works well to protect my lenses and the scope body from scratches.

Product Info for ScopeCoat Large Cover for 42mm Rifle Scopes

ScopeCoat 42mm Large Rifle Scope Covers are used by Armed forces that face combat under extreme circumstances. Their scopes require the best protection to maintain optimum performance. Scopecoat provides that protection with the Large Rifle Scope Protective Covers. To figure out what size ScopeCoat you will need for cylindrical type Rifle Scopes measure the followingimage

  1. Measure the overall length of the scope. Include sunshade if applicable.
  2. Measure the objective size. (The objective end of the scope is the end you do NOT look through while in use).
  3. Measure the turrets. These are the adjustment knobs on the scope.

Note - Scopecoat cylindrical covers stretch 1 to 1 1/2 inches pass the actual size. For example, a 10.5 inch cover can stretch to 12 inches. With this in mind, select the right size for a relaxed or snug fit.
