Product Info for Scott Archery Recon - Freedom Strap Release
The Scott Archery Recon - Freedom Strap Release is a cam-lock, fold-back freedom strap release built with essential features for solid, consistent accuracy. The most notable difference between the Freedom and Tactical strap releases is the cam-lock fold back feature, allowing the Freedom strap to become the least obstructed release mode. The result is unobstructed use of the fingers in all ranges of release angle and all draw calibers. The Freedom strap also gives the shooter the unobstructed motion of the roller trigger returning to the Bowhunter's hand as the trigger is released. This is a welcomed feature when shooting with an opposing hand. The Recon uses a proven Roller Trigger in combination with an ergonomic head and proven Roller Sear design. This makes for a solid, responsive feel in the hand and provides confidence in front of the center mass. In addition, the Recon features a new curved trigger to provide a more secure grip and to allow greater index finger rotation/angle control. It also utilizes a proven Scott single caliper Roller Sear design.
