Constructed of corrosion resistant cast 316 stainless steel, the Sea-Dog 205140-1 Stainless Butt Hinge 1 5/8in x 1 1/2in is designed to withstand the harsh marine environment. The 205140-1 Sea-Dog Butt Hinge includes two rectangular leaves that attach to the abutting surfaces of a door and door jamb, are usually mortised in and are joined together by a hinge pin. There are many different types of Hinges, some of which are Butt Hinge with a square or rectangular cross section. It is a common marine Hinges but are suitable for use on doors with other types of frames also. These Sea-Dog Butt Hinges consist of a metal insert with a wood or vinyl backer board, glued over a frame former to provide additional support. Built to withstand harsh marine environments, these Hinges install with four #10 FH fasteners (not included).image
