Product Info for Sea-Dog MRV Wiper Motor - 110 deg Sweep, 1.5in Shaft Length

The Sea-Dog MRV Wiper Motor features a two-speed, self-parking design. These heavy-duty wiping units are rated for 1/2 hp or 1 HP. The sweep angle is preset at 110 degrees. The Sea-Dog MRV Wiper Motor has a shaft size of 1-1/2in that fits a 1-1/2in fitting. The motor can be used on any type of rail vehicle that requires a continuous flow of water across the blades. This feature is useful if the travel of the wiper arms and blades across the windshield exceeds the speed of the wiper motor or if the travel is intermittent. The Sea-Dog MRV Motor has a housing that is composed of powder coated steel and aluminum for long-lasting durability. The steel and aluminum housing provide greater impact resistance than plastic housings. When the arm and blades are in the retracted position, the self-parking mechanism automatically parks the motor so the user does not have to feed the motor's clutch mechanism. When the wiper is in the parked position, the motor will engage automatically to turn the wipers off so the motor and arm remain stationary.image
