Introducing our new static/gong dual purpose targets! This target can be mounted on a 2x4 or T Post like any of our static targets, or suspended from chain or straps like a gong target depending on your intended use. For pistol and short action rifles, we recommend mounting in the static configuration. For long action and magnum rifle use, the gong mounting method is recommended.This steel was part of a truck load surplus buy. It has been freshly shot blasted prior to cutting so it has clean cuts and surface. This is however surplus steel, it may contain some minor visual defects from long term storage. We have tested the steel and found it to be of very good quality.This product still holds a full warranty. They are still top quality targets, just not our normal stock.The static targets are cut to fit a 1/2in carriage bolt to be mounted to a steel post, 2x4 or other structure. The static targets are designed for centerfire handgun use, and rifles up to .300 Win Mag. Rifles shooting over 3000 FPS muzzle velocity should be used no closer than 150 yards. Long action rifles should be used no closer than 200 yards. These are great targets for clubs, instructors and individuals
