The standard for years, Sierra has engineered and manufactured pint-grade, match grade bullets, but with the highest possible BC?and extreme precision. For those who demand the most from their ammunition, Sierra engineered and manufactured the highest-quality, match grade, rifle-grade bullets. The 7mm 165 grain BTT (Big Tipped) weighs more than most 7mm bullets, but is the same effective size. The 165 grain Big Tipped has a boat tail and ogive design for excellent flight stability and accuracy. It has a lead core filled with copper alloy, with an optimum wall thickness for uniform expansion, maintaining an excellent shape and the steel tip greatly enhances long-range accuracy. The 7mm 165 grain BTT has been optimized for 7mm cartridges. For traditional 7mm cartridges in 7mm BMG chamberings, reloaders must follow strict (1:1 compression ratio) loading and case-fitting guidelines. See detailed 7mm BMG specs below..
