The description says for hunting applications but aren't Open Tip Match (OTM) rounds for target shooting? Can you use these for hunting? Expert Answer

The SIG SAUER Elite Match Grade .300 AAC Blackout 220 grain ammo primary purpose is for target shooting. It could be used for hunting depending on other factors like what you are hunting and the distance you are shooting but I recommend using another type of ammo for hunting. The ammo at the link below would be a better option to hunt with.

These SIG SAUER Elite Match Grade .300 AAC Blackout 220 grain Open Tip Match bullets will expand on impact. However, they are not designed like certain defense or hunting ammo to rapidly expand or expand as much.

These rounds give me a one inch group with suppressor at seventy-five meters and I am no sniper. Well priced compared to the current market. No sonic crack. These may be my go to round for this caliber.
