Yes, the optic and magnifier sit at a 1.41" sight-height, this allows for an absolute co-witness with a standard A2 front sight. When using the magnifier, the front sight will be out of focus allowing you to use the optic and magnifier as intended.
I would, from my experience on my pistol length 300BLK I feel they sit too low and the eye relief is not the greatest. So I'm also looking for a cantilever mount to push the optic closer to the direction of brace.

I like it, very easy to sight in, and has been accurate. I’ve only taken it to the range a couple times, so I’m not sure about durability, but seems to be holding up fine for now.
Amazing optic. Battery life is good, holds zero really well. I have 5 of these on other rifles and they take a beating. Have they're micro optic on a pistol and it competes well with my Trijicon.
