No, the SIG SAUER ROMEOZero-R Red Dot Sight uses the Trijicon RMR footprint. The P365 X-Macro is designed to accept optics with the RMSc footprint. Some direct fit options include the Sig Romeo Zero, Shield RMSc, Vortex Defender CCW, Holosun 407K/507K and more.
The SIG SAUER ROMEOZero-R Red Dot Sight will be compatible with your P229 Pro-Cut slide assembly. However, since this optic uses the RMR footprint, you will need to use a sealing plate in order to properly install the optic. Optics that use the Deltapoint Pro footprint such as the Sig Romeo 1 Pro, Eotech EFLX, and Leupold Deltapoint Pro would not require the use of a sealing plate.
I like this Sig optic. The good quality glass has a very wide field of view and the circle/dot options make it versatile.
