Inside the 4217 AR/Short Rifle Case is a fully lined top and front access full length 4217 Mil-Spec small rifle case that features three cushioned carrying handles and a pullout storage panel for storing magazines and other small parts. These cases feature two trigger release latches (for immediate access) and two web handles (for ease of lifting and transporting). The top and front handles include a retractable rubber hood to keep handles from becoming snagged and removes for easy access to the internal storage area. The weatherproof, injection molded case provides maximum protection for all of your valuables, regardless of the environment. Upgraded to SKB's new ultra high-tech polypropylene copolymer resin formula, the 4217 is the toughest case you will ever own. The interior and exterior of the 4217 are finished in a durable double track EVA-liner, and coated with Battlefield Xtreme coating for maximum protection against corrosive chemicals, the material is resistant to corrosion and impact damage, and the case is water- and dust tight (MIL-C-4150J) to protect against most common forms of impact damage.
