The Slicing Edge Charlie's Wheel Knife Sharpener sharpens any Slicing Edge blade on the swiss grindstone method. This allows extremely fast sharpening of all serrated edges. For coarse sharpening a stainless steel blade, first heat treat it by applying a solution of high concentrated beeswax and oil to the blade. Apply a solution of oil or wax to the sharpening wheel and bring the edge up to a high enough temperature. Apply a solution of beeswax and oil to the surface of the blade before attempting to sharpen it. The natural porousness of the W2 steel will allow it to be sharpened with less frequent sharpening.image
