With an assisted opening stainless steel blade, it is spring assisted for fast and easy opening. Thumb studs on the closed knife provide a 2-finger squeeze to open the knife, while a fingerguard on the open version provides cover for your fingers. Thumb studs on the open version provide cover for your fingers as well, to prevent the knife from closing accidentally. Both of these features come in handy in case of emergency self-defense, or even just in case you want a tactial back-up for your pocket.
