Weighing in at 3.44 ounces, the Pentagon Fx Covert is a great concealment and utility knife. The angled blade position provides both a strong grip that minimizes blade movement as well as a powerful initial point of contact for self-defense. The handle's simplicity reduces its vantage point, making it friendly for multiple hand positions. The metal bail attachment serves as a tie off point for retention within a tucked or slashing grip. While the design of the Pentagon Fx Covert does not preclude additional perforations to a handle scale, it does require that the perforations run along the grain of the blade in order to utilize the full blade potential.
