Product Info for SOG Specialty Knives & Tools Trident At 3.7in Folding Knife
The Trident family of knives are designed for those who require the ultimate in versatility and function within a folding knife format. The Trident series features SOG's patented Compression Lock mechanism as a simple and rugged solution to the problem of how to get a full, solid grip on the knife with one hand. To perform the lock-back function, the folder must be brought to a near vertical holding position and the pivot screw must be lined up in such a way that it is easily engaged by the thumb using the slotted or slotted screwdriver. Once the screwdriver is closed, the folder's liners lock the blade securely in place, creating a solid lock every bit as strong as the blade material. In short, it is a truly functional and versatile folder.
