Product Info for Solas 2211-101-13 Amita 3 Aluminum 3 Blade Prop Rh 10.1in Dia. x 13" Pitch x 14 Spline

These propellers utilize exclusive Solas squeeze cast process, which strengthens the core of the propeller. This adds structural integrity and increases the engines service life. It also provides for a smoother ride and higher top-end speed. Many propeller manufacturers utilize a lost-film proprietary process, which greatly increases the thickness of the blades. However, this process also produces a propeller with a weaker injected structure and, therefore, a weaker and brittle propeller. This process, along with the one-piece engine mounting bracket, eliminates concerns with propellers coming loose or falling off during use. In-line designs work best with steering motors with a tighter turning radius to eliminate propeller slip. Also, look for propellers with the Stiffy or Near-Line hubs as the shaft passes through the engines a power takeoff point. This provides for a slight decrease in the top end of the propeller and, therefore, a slight loss in top end speed. However, these are not ground propellers and should be hand inspected upon installation. If installation is necessary, please refer to the propeller's owner's manual for proper handling techniques.image
