GG&G Sling Thing Sling Attachment Swivels are built on the widely accepted principle tactical slings should be mounted on the side of the weapon. GG&G Sling Things provide this mounting position to fill this requirement for AR15 style rifles. GG&G Front And Rear Sling Things are a lightweight, durable, easy-to-install and inexpensive mount that lets you attach any rifle sling to your AR or M16.

The standard GG&G Front Sling Thing easily installs onto the AR15/M16's "A-frame" front sight assembly, on either the right or left sides using socket head cap screws. Mounted high in this manner "rifle roll" is completely prevented. The GG&G Rear Sling Thing is designed for easy attachment to the AR15/M16 collapsible stock in the same manner. Both the front and rear GG & G Sling Thing Swivel Sling Attachments use a coated 1 1/4 inch sling swivel that are bead blasted and manganese phosphated in a non-reflective matte black mil-spec finish. Manufactured from tough 6061 T6 billet aluminum alloy, the body of the GGG Sling Things are Type III hard-coat anodized in a matte black combat finish. The Sling Thing Front is compatible with the Surefire Millennium 500 flashlight forearm.
