Building on decades of proven performance and feedback from the shooting community, the marksman-oriented Marksmen 2 Point Sling utilizes lightweight yet extremely durable Mil-Spec Type 17337 and Mil-W-43668 webbing in order to shed critical weight. The portion of the sling that goes across your shoulder is a whopping 1.5 wide Type 17337 webbing for superior weight distribution, and the 1 wide front adjuster strap is made from the same MIL-W-43668 heavy duty webbing we use on our MOLLE pouches and carriers. Also, the upper sling retainer strap (the one that goes across your shoulder) is a 1 wide Mark 4 sling strap (the one that goes across your shoulder) combined with a lower sling retainer strap (the one that goes across your chest or back) of the Mark 5 Recon 2 Point Sling. This extra wide mark 3 sling gives you enhanced flexibility in order to get the Ruger Mark VI Recon 2 Point Sling to work with unconventional weapons or when getting into unconventional shooting positions.
