If you are building an AR 9, you need a 9mm barrel not a .300 barrels. I would highly recommend you do some research on how to build before you jump into it. I built about half a dozen. The price point isn't really that different then if you were to buy a rifle already assembled.
I had to return this barrel because it wouldnt fit the gun I ordered it for, but the fit and finish looked fantastic. Spikes is a pretty good brand, I really like that they didnt color the barrel extension as well.
