The all-black ButtonUp combines all the advanced

features of this design with low-profile black coatings

to reduce or eliminate its reflective signature. Ideal for tactical

applications where light discipline is a concern or for those who

simply prefer the look of an all-black knife, the ButtonUp features a

high-strength, easy-to-operate button-lock mechanism and ball bearing

pivot washers. Its modified clip point blade is crafted from 8Cr13MoV

stainless steel and cloaked in a non-reflective black oxide coating. Full-flat

ground to balance strength and low-friction edge geometry, it is available

in both PlainEdge and partially serrated CombinationEdge formats. The

knifes easy-to-clean, open-backed handle is constructed with smooth carbon

fiber/G-10 laminate scales reinforced with two sets of nested stainless steel

microliners. To ensure convenient carry and position the knife for immediate

access, the handle includes a reversible hourglass clip that supports both left- and

right-side tip-up carry. In keeping with the spirit of its black-coated blade, the clip,

button, and other handle hardware also sport non-reflective black coatings.
