Product Info for Spyderco Police Folding Knife

One of the most recognizable folding knives ever produced, the original Spyderco Police Model was developed in the early 1980s specifically to meet the needs of law enforcement professionals. The latest lightweight version of this iconic model has been supercharged with K390 MICROCLEAN blade steel. This state-of-the-art cold work tool steel is made by Bohler-Uddeholm and specially formulated to withstand the rigors of demanding industrial applications. Ideal for extreme cutting challenges, the Police 4 Lightweight provides the perfect platform to showcase K390s superior toughness and edgeholding characteristics. The other proven qualities of this highly refined design are all in place, including the low friction edge geometry of a full-flat-ground PlainEdge blade. The distinctive blue fiberglassreinforced nylon (FRN) handle scales designate this knife as a member of the elite K390 family and include Spydercos trademark Bi-Directional Texture pattern for enhanced grip security. With a fully accessible Trademark Round Hole, sturdy back lock mechanism, and adjustable four-position pocket clip, the Police 4 Lightweight can be configured for any carry preference. Though the Police Model is one of Spydercos longest running production knives, it continues to cement its legendary status by pushing the boundaries of innovation.image
