Spydercos original Salt 2 model combined the highly refined handle ergonomics and multiple carry options of their iconicDelica 4 platform with ultra-corrosion-resistant materials. Their all-new versions of the Salt 2 set an even higher standard withthe addition of LC200N blade steel. This state-of-the-art, nitrogen-enriched material was specifically formulated to offer superiorcorrosion resistance and extreme toughness, even at high levels of hardness. NASAs material of choice for the ball bearingsused in aerospace equipment, as a blade steel it provides an exceptional blend of toughness, edge holding, and corrosionresistance. To maximize the benefits of this remarkable steel, the blades of Salt 2 LC200N knives feature a low-friction, full-flatgrind and are available with a choice of a PlainEdge or fully serrated SpyderEdge formats. They also include all the otherproven features of the Salt 2 platform, including a sturdy back lock mechanism, a Bi-Directional Textured fiberglass-reinforcednylon(FRN) handle, and a four-position titanium pocket clip. To ensure easy visibility when used in and around the water, theirhandles are molded in a vibrant, high-visibility green color.
