The SpyderCo Slip Stone Knife Sharpening System 307F has been created for those whose tools and blade regularly need to be sharpened. This Knife Sharpener from Spyderco is great for sharpening curved blades, woodworking tools, plane irons and sophisticated shaped edges. The fine grit Spyder Co Stone Slip Knife Sharpener is flat, thin and ultra smooth for professional finishing and sharpening. This Spyderco Sharpening System is made from Alumina Ceramic, a process where a bonding agent is combined with Alumina particles that are actually synthetic sapphires, that don't require lubricants like oil or water for use. The Spyder Co. Knife Sharpening Slip Stone measures 9 on the Mohs hardness scale (out of 10), and is formed into a slip teardrop and kiln fired to 3000 degrees F.
