Stealth Armor Systems has been making Flexible Rifle Armor that feels and conceals just like soft armor but is rated to defend against .223, 5.56, M855 and 7.62×39 FMJ Lead Core since late 2014 and is patented!
Flexible Rifle Armor panels provide full front, rear, and side coverage against the most common threats listed above.
The Hexar Patrol Vest is comprised of Boron Carbide, (real military grade ceramic), and the Force Multiplier Dyneema SB117 all packaged in a system so good and so novel it was awarded a patent back in 2014, and the rest is history. We are the originators of flexible rifle armor and we manufacture right here in Texas the best and lightest flexible rifle armor system money can buy.
The Patrol Vest comes in two styles, one is our standard carrier that weighs 1 Lbs and is made of 500 denier Cordura and has areas to apply you ID patches front and back but can also be used concealably. This carrier only holds the flex panels.
The second version is the Optimized carrier, with 6 tube style quick release points, Laser Cut Slotted Molle, and the ability to act like a traditional plate carrier and house traditional plates front, back and, sides if so desired. The configurations give you many choices down the road as your requirements may change. So it's full coverage flexible rifle armor, and it's a really nice plate carrier all in one!
