The advanced military design and a fiber-reinforced polycarbonate blue rubber-armored housing make the 7x50 Commander Digital extremely rugged and lightweight and help it perform even in the harshest weather conditions, when you need it most. All aluminum components are anodized to protect against corrosion, and is completely mil-spec waterproof to a depth of 5 meters (16.4 ft), and shockproof, with internal optical chambers pressurized with dry nitrogen to protect against condensation at varying temperatures, all these features make Steiner Comander Digital a great Marine Binoculars. The 7x50mm Commander Digital is equipped with collapsible plastic objective lens covers secured to the binocular body. A rain protection cover for the eyepieces is attached to the carrying strap.
