Product Info for Sterling Auto Block 6mmx13.5in loop

If you're serious about rappelling, you need a reliable autoblock to keep you safe if you start to slip. To accomplish this, Sterling designed the AutoBlock 6mm x 13.5in loop. Serving as an automatic backup, the AutoBlock consists of a durable 6mm cord sewn into a 13.5 inch loop. It attaches to the brake hand of the rappel, letting you control your descent and stopping you if you start to jerk downward or slip. It also replaces a traditional prusik or Klemheist knot, so you don't have to tie these knots each time you go on an adventure.image
