Product Info for Super Vel Ammunition 223 Remington 62 grain Solid Copper Hollow Point Brass Cased Rifle Ammunition
Solid copper bullets penetrate, expand and maintain their integrity far better than conventional lead-core bullets which tend to fragment in the classic core-jacket separation. Super Vel's .223 Rem. 62 gr. Solid Copper Hollow Point (SCHP) achieves maximum stopping power because of the solid copper bullet integrity. The 62 gr. SCHP bullet deploys six sharp cutting petals as they expand after hitting soft tissue. Even when fired through various barrier materials such as sheetrock, plywood or windshield glass, our solid copper is barrier blind and delivers both accuracy and terminal performance even after passing through an obstacle. The bullet has a small hollow point and a boattail, both of which aid accuracy; target bullets often are BTHP, boat tail hollow point. Solid copper rifle bullets have been proven many times over in hunting big game. Our 62 gr. six-petal SCHP is an outstanding bullet for the .223 Remington.
