Traveling at 900 fps, well below the speed of sound, our Hush Puppy 147 gr. FMJ load is a soft-shooting, low-recoil, extremely quiet alternative to full-power 9mm ball. The IPSC power factor is 132, ideal for competition. Because it is a soft-shooting load, the 147 gr. Hush Puppy may not cycle suppressed pistols reliably with the factory recoil spring; a reduced-power recoil spring may be necessary.
