I had an extra Surefire X300 so I purchased this tailcap and it works perfectly as intended. I like the toggle switch which allows the light to remain off while the gun is not in use so the light won't accidentally be left on for any reason.
The SureFire Tailcap Switch Assembly provides reliable and remote activation of any X-Series WeaponLight that's attached to a MIL-1913 Picatinny rail. SureFire designed these Pistol Weapon Lights to replace the standard tail cap switch, and they are compatible with ST07, SR07 and SR07-D-IT remote pressure pad assemblies and their models with a longer cable. This SureFire Tailcap Switch Assembly w/ Disable for X-Series Weapon Lights feature a lockout toggle switch that prevents accidental operation. Upgrade to the SureFire XT00 WeaponLight Switch for easier activation of your gun-mounted flashlight.
