The Levi Morgan Series broadheads were designed to mimic the sweeping motion of a real knife blade; the prey is forced to make every decision on impact, ensuring the broadhead makes it all the way through to the vital organs, ensuring maximum energy retention and crippling penetration. This mechanical broadhead pierces the vast majority of game with a leading-edge 2" cutting diameter, and the Slash Point blades reduce blade surface area and therefore blade surface area after initial impact, increasing accuracy, penetration and in flight speed. We listened. We changed the design to a slimmer profile, making it easier and faster to draw your bow back. Instead of trying to keep up with your mates, the blades on this mechanical broadhead retract as the arrow is drawn to the target, preventing them from losing their hold on the broadhead. After the initial insertion, the razor sharp Slash Point blades retract to help keep blades from burying the blades in the vitals. With this method, the scalpel blades have razor sharp angles built into the sharpening nicks. With practice, the mechanical nicks almost anybody can keep their bow running smoothly regardless of bow speed. Since the Slash Points have such razor sharp radial edges, they leave a devastating wound channel that all but eliminates the need for follow-up shots. The mechanical nicks don't break, and if they do, they deploy quickly on impact for a huge wound that quickly closes the wound channel.
