The Little Bear is an ANSI z87 rated wrap around sports frame that can also accommodate those with very strong prescriptions. For light to moderate prescriptions we can put the prescription lenses directly into the frame. For stronger prescriptions the lenses mount into our strong Rx adapter to provide ideal optics and plenty of room to house the thicker lenses. Will my prescription glasses require the strong Rx adapter? This is determined by the maximum combined (sphere + cylinder) power of your prescription. If this power is within +2.50 to -5.00 for both eyes then we will put your Rx lenses directly into the frame. If the power lies outside of that range for one or both eyes then we'll use the strong Rx adapter.
