Tacticon Armaments Level III+ is a lightweight armor is a composite of ceramic and UHMWPE (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) weighing 4.4 lbs. This plate has been tested to the NIJ .06 standard to stop (6) shots of the 7.6251 (M80). In addition, this plate also has capabilities to stop the 5.56 M855 Green Tip which some Level III applications have a hard time stopping. This plate by far is one of the most versatile systems we offer that will give you all the protection you would ever need unless you are expecting a .30 Cal M2AP threat. In order to increase the ergonomics and the comfort of the plate, we made sure to include it as a multi-curve system that will conform to your Torso.
