When you're mounting a scope to a steel base, make sure you get the extension you need to give it the correct amount of swing. Talley bases feature a harmonically balanced design that eliminates wobble. The wider spacing between the bases also provides the shooter with more shooting base to work with. It's not just for looks though, when you secure one of these bases you also secure a carry handle so the rifle can be removed easily. This steel base accepts all standard Rifle Scope rings on the market today giving you the flexibility to mount your Talley system however you prefer. Looking to maximize your return on a Talley system you want these exact scope mounts. Please note these will require a longer overall length of the rail than the Talley bases you are mounting.
