The EPIC Air Helmet Liner Comfort Pad Set includes 2 sets of inner comfort pad covers. These cover sets are reversible and can be used in either the front or back of an air-mesh lined helmet. This set includes inner pad set only. For the adventurous, the EPIC Air helmet delivers a nice balance between weight, airflow, and cushioning. It accounts for the name "comfort" from the plush suede-like material that surrounds the face opening of the liner. It is very important to note that comfort does not necessarily mean soft : this is just a nice added feature to have for your liner ; however, it is important to know that the liner is not completely invincible so that it can withstand extreme circumstances and extreme use. The EPIC Air Helmet Replacement Comfort Pad Set is recommended only for use with standard air mesh lined helmets. Using the wrong liner can actually cause increased airflow inside the helmet system to become a bigger problem than a comfort pad. This is because the air flow within the helmet can become sabotaged by the very same mechanism that is providing the illusion of a comfortable liner. By using the provided liner in combination with a comfort pad in a normal scenario, the increased airflow inside the helmet can still provide extreme comfort, however the same or similar to a comfort pad in a normal situation, the increased foam eventually wears out and eventually has to be replaced.
