Televue 0.8X Reducer Flattener for TeleVue 102 Telescopes RFL-4087

TeleVue 0.8x Reducer/Flattener RFL-4087 cleans-up focus away from the center of an image. The 0.8x Reducer for 102 Scopes reduces telescope focal length by 80% while flattening the field for up to 35mm frame formats. This 0.8X Reducer from Televue can be used for all Tele Vue 102mm f/8.6 telescopes such as TeleVue-102 Telescope (WXC-4086) and TeleVue TV-102iis Imaging System Scope (TVI-4087). Tele Vue 0.8X Reducer is optimized for 55mm back focal length typical of SLR camera body that accept T Rings. For all scopes with 2" focusers (such as TeleVue TV-102), you'll need to attach optional adapter Tele Vue Imaging System Noisepiece for 2" Focuser (RAD-1074) to the front of the Reducer. For Tele Vue TV102iis Scope that to achieve maximum field illumination and focus you'll need to use Televue Extension Tubes (TLA-0250, TLB-0375, TLC-0500, TLD-1000) in conjunction with Tele Vue 0.8 Reducer/Flattener. The TeleVue Reducer RFL-4087 also works with any non-flat-field refractors (such as doublets or triplets) in the 800-1000mm focal length range for increasing field size and flattening the field for up to 35mm format SLR/DSLR bodies.
