These kits provide all components necessary for a reliable COD reading using the ORION AQUAfast II COD Colorimeter (sold separately). Colorimeter cartridges are filled with dye that change color when excited with a specific solution and provide a reliable colorimetric method for determining colorimetric COD. Colorimeters in this kit are capable of detecting colorimetric COD values between 0 and 150 ppm and readings in a matter of seconds. The colorimeter cartridges are fitted with a special dye that changes color to indicate a particular COD value. When the dye changes color, it is an indication that the colorimeter is indicating a change in colorimeter reading.
