Ballast kits are streamlined, energy-efficient and vibration-resistant. Advanced ballast management systems also allow for easy installation, use and service. The key component of a ballast is a component of a lighting circuit that quickly provides energy to the fixture and is easily removed for recycling. Poor quality ballasts generate power by attracting fluorescent lamp phosphors, which contain a fluorescent light source. This bi-directionality of light from all angles of a regular (truss) fixture causes warm air to be blown out of the fixture, causing a reduced light output. The solution is an advanced ballast design, which provides reliable and long-lasting performance without the need for extensive training or experience.
