The Thule Hull-A-Port Aero is a complete rear mounted bike carrying solution with outstanding convenience, low aerodynamic profile and carrying capacity for one or two bikes. This complete system enables you to simply attach the rack to the Thule Aeroblade, ULTRAblade or DLblade. The unique design of the Aeroblade gives you the lowest possible profile, which in turn provides better wind resistance and a quieter ride. The closure uses a simple to use slide-seal and a lock-once-holstered system. The lock-once-holstered design ensures that once the system is installed, it remains tightly closed, so the rack won't shift or budge. The Thule Aeroblade and ULTRAblade both have quick-release mounting systems, but the ULTRAblade requires a quick-release system at the rear of the rack in order for it to fold down. Like the X-Carry and DLblade, the Aeroblade and X-Carbide are among the lightest mounting systems on the market. The hull-a-port is truly a unique system that will add convenience and space to your vehicle by eliminating the need for a front-of-vehicle cable and requiring you to thread the rear of the bike onto the rack. Installation is quick, easy and completely tool-free. The lock must be installed by an individual, so it is highly recommended that an experienced installer install this rack. Professional installers with an advanced degree of expertise are highly recommended.
