I just checked the timney website and they say this works with the original a bolt and the a bolt 2 but not the a bolt 3. Could you verify Expert Answer

The Timney Triggers Browning A-Bolt Spring Kit is compatible with the original A-Bolt and A-Bolt II. It will not work with the A-Bolt III.

These springs work well to do exactly what they advertise. I used the heavier one since I was installing on a slug gun, still much lighter than the factory spring and safer than clipping the factory spring.

The Timney Browning A-Bolt Spring Kit consists of two springs that will reduce your trigger's weight of pull. Easy to install. Includes 1.5-2 lb and 2-3 lb springs.image
