No, this has its own bolt (included). You will need to replace your buffer/spring with the included buffer/buffer spring/ and buffer stop since it uses an external buffer like an AR (and the bolt reciprocates into the buffer tube) rather than a short bolt and guide rod spring like on the CMMG.

The M4-22 ELITE Conversion Upper Kit allows you to convert your mil-spec AR to shoot .22LR ammo. Comes complete with one 25rnd magazine, 16" 4150 threaded barrel with A2 Bird Cage, 12" Aluminum M-Lok handguard and aluminum charging handle. Conversion kit utilizes our proprietary 25rnd magazines that has been modified to fit the AR lower. Kit also includes a modified buffer, buffer spring, and two firing pins. The firing pins are different lengths to correct OOB or light strikes.
