The Titan High Carbon Blade Knife TD-002 features a Tanto blade and is made of 1095 high carbon steel. The full tang of this Knife from Titan International has great edge retention. The Titan Damascus Knife is a beautiful mix of artistic design and metallurgy, with a Damascus steel blade and artistic carbon fiber handle. This is a beautifully designed Tanto blade knife. Titan International Knives uses a high carbon blend of 1095 and 15N20 steel in their traditional and unique designs. The Damascus steel has great edge retention and a long working life. It is recommended to re-sharpen your blade on a regular basis. The fingers that you use your fingers to hold the knife should be strong enough to avoid puncturing or cutting your fingers. Also, the longer the blade is held, the more it is honed and the sharper the edge becomes. The opposite side of the blade has an acid test indicator to make sure the edge remains sharp. You can easily tell when the steel is new and still has a razor edge by feeling the feel of the steel. Each Titan Damascus Knife comes with a high quality black leather sheath.
