The first model TOPS introduced was the Steel Eagle 107D (tanto) and this Delta Class version of that first model has some upgrades. The first thing you'll probably notice with the new version is the Acid Rain finish - also known as TOPS' Acid Rain or TAN-RAIN. It was developed for those individuals who want their hunting knives to have a little more flash. The second thing you'll probably notice is the change in handle. The new handle is constructed with two layers of alternating Tan and Canvas Micarta that's been buffed to a nice luster. It has been designed so the oil from your fingers won't leave an imprint on the Micarta handle. The liners along the spine will also be treated with a black coating so that your grip will be non- Slip. These liners give the knife a little heft and when wet, the Diamond texture provides the perfect texture for a great hold with a sure grip. The reason you'll love this knife is because of its saw teeth. They allow you to saw through just about anything you can find. It includes a Kydex sheath with a Rotating Clip that allows you to attach it to a standard belt up to 2 in diameter.
