Product Info for Torklift International Stable Load Spring Pads

The Torklift General and PTFE cushion spring pads help transfer the load from the tow vehicle to the towing vehicle tires. The stability the tow vehicle maintains while under load is the responsibility of the towing vehicle. The weight of the load, the shape of the tow vehicle and the type of pad all contribute to the weight-dispersal of the tow vehicle and the stability of the tow vehicle. The thickness of the pad and the towing vehicle tires provide a stable surface for the tow vehicle to move with. The towing vehicle does not have to be perfectly aligned to use the towing vehicle's spring pads. The Stable Load Spring Pads allow the weight of the tow vehicle and the tires to be redistributed to the towing vehicle. No matter what load the vehicle being used for, the towing vehicle's stability control (sway) is automatically adjusted by the towing vehicle's spring pads. The Stable Load Spring Pads do not absorb energy, provide no spring force or energy, just an extremely light push on the front of the towing vehicle. Replacing the towing vehicle's spring pads is not an easy task as they are very sensitive to the weight of the load being carried. With an initial setup the Stable Load Spring Pads absorb the shock of the load being transferred and stabilizes the load at the same time. The spring pads can easily be removed by hand, the towing vehicle and the springs. Installation of the Torklift Spring Pads is made easy with the instructions for assembly on the package and installation on the vehicle.image
