Over all the unit is well made and you CANT beat the price, though if you really need exact results as without the magnifier then get the F1.0 for more money. If things are tight or your need more compact lens get this one. I tested on an X100xp Mode...

The Torrey Pines 2x and 3x Afocal Adapters are specifically designed for hand held infrared cameras. Using interchangeable connectors Afocal FLIR Adapters by Torrey Pines Logic can connect to X200 / X150 / X50 cameras such as L3 Thermal-Eye X200XP Thermal Imaging Infrared Camera (TIMNX200), L3 Thermal Eye X-50 Thermal Imaging Camera (TIMNX050), Thermal Eye X150xp Thermal Imaging Camera (TIMNX150) or any 36xx / 26xx cores. Focal length of the system simply increases by a factor of 2 or 3. No electrical or mechanical modifications to the core system.image
