I got the Traditions Snap Caps Pistol 9mm set to practice with my new gun and they work exactly as descibed. No worries about damage from dry firing. They really help to break in the trigger on a new gun.

These snap caps are great to use for practicing your sight alignment. They keep you from damaging your firing pin, especially on the higher end guns. I use them all the time. Helps you to get use to the trigg er pull on your firearm.
Very similar to the Tipton design. I prefer these to the azoom aluminum ones as they have an internal spring that helps with longevity.

Snap Caps are made to protect your firearms by relieving the stress on your firing pins and firing pin springs. When you safely store your unloaded gun, put a snap cap in the chamber and fire your gun to allow the firing pin to lay at rest. This will help prevent firing pins from breaking in the future. Snap Caps are also a great tool to practice dry firing your guns to teach safe gun handling, improve your shooting skills and tune your trigger. 9mm, 5 per package.
