Constructed with a rigid ring on the cap, the eyepiece flips open to reveal the micro-mesh surface that allows the shooter to see the full field-of-view with or without a red dot. The patented lens closing system of the Eyepiece Flip Cap provides a "flip-open" effect when the cap is in the open position. When the flip cap is in the closed position, it protects the rear lens from rain, snow, debris and is easily pushed down when tossed into the pocket or pack.
