The Modular Heating Blocks have a non-reactive aluminum body that can easily be immersed in water baths thereby reducing the need for antifreeze. Non-stick coating on the interior of the heating blocks permits the use of water without boiling. The non-reactive material in the heating blocks (glass, porcelain, or nickel) permits the use of water without boiling. The heating blocks stabilize temperature over a wide range by allowing water to circulate throughout the block. Unaffected by water, these products can be immersed in water baths thereby reducing the need for electrical currents. Using the immersion heaters also stabilizes temperature over a broad range.
